Quality of the print is low

Hi,

I downloaded some files to print. In this case, a queen chess piece. I printed it out all good but with poor quality:

1) It has filaments between holes like in the part and in the crown.

2) In many areas, the print is not smooth.

I attach a few pictures with the deffects.

What settings should I be looking at to improve the quality of the print?

Thank you

I've discovered that the filaments in between are due to "stringing". I'm working on it using a temperature tower.

Will the issues from the poor quality in the actual piece be solved at the same time? Or they are different issues?

Thank you

Dry your filament and try again.  If the problem persists save your project as a .3mf file

Files > Save Project as

Zip the .3mf and post it here. It will contain both your part and your settings for us to diagnose.

What Diem said.

Additionally: Buy some filament matching a default profile in PrusaSlicer, print with default settings.
If you print a model which should print without issues, like the one you posted, with normal PLA filament and get issues like the ones you have: Do not randomly change settings (including temeprature), it will make things worse and difficut to troubleshoot.
You will not get specific advice if you do not post the project file, it includes model and settings.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
Find out why this is pinned in the general section!
