PrusaSlicer puts infill areas where a clean layer would be better
I'm having some trouble with a model and PrusaSlicer. The model is simply a logo that put on a cylinder. The problem is that PrusaSlicer puts an infill area on the top layer of the cylinder right under one part of the logo. This area is not visible on the finished print, but I can clearly see that the top surface is not as clean as it could be if the printer would print this without stopping multiple times because of this area.
Here are two screenshots how this looks like in PrusaSlicer:
I've already tried the model repair in Meshmixer and get the same result. I also get the same result if I import the cylinder and the logo as separate stl files into PrusaSlicer. Also there is no difference if I create the stl with OpenScad or Fusion360.
And when I try to slice this with Simplify3D it looks even worse on the top layer:
Is there any way to tell the slicer to just print a clean layer between the cylinder and the logo?
RE: PrusaSlicer puts infill areas where a clean layer would be better
I found a workarround for this problem in the meantime. I found out that the Slicer only puts these holes top layers. So I simply changed the settings to zero top layers and a number higher than the total layer count of my model for the bottom layers. Now every layer is perfect and there are no holes to go arround while printing. The downside is that the print is completely solid, but this not problem for small objects like this one.

Thanks, exactly what I was looking for. To prevent the solid thing I left bottom layers unchanged and used a height modifier to change to 100% Infill for the last 5 layers.
