Prusa Slicer weird shift in preview

Hello Everyone,

So let me start off by saying I am brand new to 3D printing and Blender in general (I've been at it now for about a month) and will do my best to describe everything to the best of my ability. long story short, I have been trying to make 3D prints of my friend's characters from a game we all play as fun little presents and have been learning error after error. This time though I am simply at a loss and cannot find the answer so I am hoping someone might be able to help me.

The problem: I made hair myself for the characters in Blender and then exported it as an STL into Prusa Slicer, and lets just say it looked less than stellar. After googling my problem and just messing around I fixed most of it but cannot solve why the tips on the strands of hair appear as if they are falling apart and breaking when I click on the preview tab. I have adjusted the layer amount, infill, size of the model, and gone back into Blender and made the strands of hair thicker but to no avail.

If there is a kind soul out there who might have an idea as to what I am doing wrong I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you guys for taking the time to read this post! I will insert a picture down below of what I am seeing.

Side note too, I don't have any supports as I am trying to see how it will look first and then will add the supports before actually printing.

Without your Prusa Slicer project file to see exactly what is going on anything is a guess.  However best guess is arachne.  It can have problems with some geometry on the default settings.  Try switching back to Classic slicing engine (Print Settings>Layers and Perimeters>Advanced>Perimeter Generator)  must be in Advanced or expert mode to see that setting.

If you want more detailed help then you will need to attach a PS project (File>Save Project As) and then take the resulting 3mf file, ZIP it up and attach it.  Must be zipped or the forum wont accept the file.

What neophyl said. Although my best guess is that the edges are too thin to print properly with a 0.4mm nozzle.

Thank you both so much for the responses! I shifted the nozzle down to 0.25, as I have a nozzle coming in that is this size, and switched it back to Classic mode and it already looks a million times better. The only thing now is that it seems to have chopped off the ends of many of the strands of hair. It honestly isn't the worst thing in the world but if you guys don't mind helping me one more time that would be amazing.

I have attached the file as suggested. Thank you again so much!

Head and hair
