Problem with layer after solid bottom

I found an issue with the layer after the solid bottom when I print something like a planter or box

I am using Slic3r, PLA, 0.15 layer height, Temp is 195 first layer and 190 after, not sure why is this happening 🙁 thanks in advance for any help

Is it around the hole print, or just at one site?

Can you measure the height of the prints on two sites? Are they the same?

Looks a little bit like warping.

Any news or solutions found yet?

i think i’m having the same issue. But most off the time on one side of the print. With the 3d benchy on the y-axis but only on the backside of the print. And on a battery bracket from makita on the x-axis, only on the right side of the print.

Printed parts without problems since august, untill now.

printed the benchy with amazonbasics petg on a mk3s+

0.2mm layer on 0.4mm nozzle

temps 240/85 & 245/90

20% rectangular infill.

lift-z 0mm / retract 1,2mm

@oos134 that’s the benchy hull line on your picture. It‘s caused by the transition from infill to solid.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
Find out why this is pinned in the general section!

Thanks!

I think the problem is caused due some loose belts. I tried to adjust the belt tension value between 240-290 (270 as the sweetspot) and had to loosen the belts a lot. Maybe a little bit too much. Will re-tighten them, and have another go.

After checking the belt tension. I realized that I misread the thread. Will check my slicer settings.

The "bulge" problem is definitely well documented.  The prusa devs said it's on their list of things to fix.  When that happens is anyone's guess.
