I was able to resolve my issue. It turned out that the pre-assembled hotend was actually not assembled properly at factory and although it appeared to be correct, it was in fact leaking from the top causing filament to run down the heat block at the back (not visible as my printer is in an enclosure) and leaving particles all over the print. It was also obviously slightly under extruding due to the leaking. By the time I found this, I had almost given up on the printer as I was lost for any other ideas and at no point was this even a possible consideration.

I hope that you are able to sort out your issues, but usually, the stock profiles and settings should print fine. If you are having issues with these, then these is a high chance you have an issue with the hardware. Temps and speed do play a part in this, but usually only if they are at either end of the extreems.

The only recommendation I can also offer is do not print with Z Hop if you can avoid it. This seems to add issues especially the same as the horizontal line I see in your print.

Let us know if you are able to resolve your issues.

Hi evgeniy

Unfortunately, i was only to get one good print and after that i have been battling different settings working with retraction, drying my new filament, changing different temperatures, changing the z value and retraction but nothing seems to work. The benchy to my eye looks to print fine but when i try to print boxes i have the seam problem. The only change i have done is to print at 0.75 mm width which was recommended by the author of the print but i did not either see any improvement to use the default.

How did it look when it was leaking? Is it perhaps something that could have happened to me too?

Kind regards

(Tried to attach the 3mf file as well , but don't known if i succeeded)

I had very similar looking prints when printing anything large, as you saw in my previous posts the dry boxes. When I was printing small items (maybe less than 3 hours total print time) there appeared to be no issues similar to your results with the benchy. I had had a lot of particles, black blobs and what appeared to be under extrusion all around the start and end of a layer.

The only reason I found that it was the leaking hotend was by thinking I needed to improve the stock print cooling vent. After I printed a new one and removed my original one, I noticed something on the top of the heat block, which looked like a pool of black liquid. That is what made me proceed to explore what this was and when I identified that it was indeed plastic that was leaking from the top.

Considering everything that you have attempted to change and that none of it seems to play any part in resolving this still makes me believe that it is actually hardware that is causing this. My advise would to be remove the hotend and inspect it to make sure there is nothing on there that appears to be out of order.

Let me know how you go and I am always happy to try and help.
