Problem in printing a piece,

Hi everyone,

I have a problem printing a piece, the radius that is on the bottom part, closest to the bed, is not good, the top part is good.

I am currently using Prusa ABS with nozzle 0.6mm, and the layer height is 0.2mm

I already activated the options, "extra perimeters if needed", "ensure vertical shell thickness" and used the layer editing from the Slic3r Prusa edition, but i can not solve the problem.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance

Re: Problem in printing a piece,

You could try using supports from bed only

Re: Problem in printing a piece,

Preview your print in Slic3rPE to ensure support is being generated up far enough. If not, you can try adjusting Print Settings->Support Material->Support material->Overhang threshold to a higher value, or Enforce support for first layers further up your print. You can read about my adventures with this same issue here. Martin.w15 had some good tips.

Re: Problem in printing a piece,

Guys, thank you so much by your tips.

Previously, I had already achieved satisfactory results with petg, but I gave up using petg because i have difficulties in adhesion and dripping is irritating, moreover I feel that the abs is easier to print and gives more mechanical quality.

With the petg I used 0.3mm layer height, was that what helped to have a better piece?

In any way I'll try out your tips.

Thanks! 😉
