Printing with Flex material strings terribly

Prusa MK3/S, trying to print face masks with flexible filament material.  No matter what I do, I get terrible stringing, as shown in the attached photo.  This is after checking the option for 'Avoid crossing perimeters'. This option did help to avoid stringing within the open spaces on the lower part of the print, but as soon as the thin mask part started printing, I noticed the head was jumping diagonally across the mask perimeter a lot, and every one of those jumps pulled a spider-web thin line of filament behind it.

Any way to force the slicer to stay on the perimeter, similar to 'vase' or 'spiral' mode?

TIA,

Frank

RE: Printing with Flex material strings terribly

Flexi material is known to be stringy, to get best results (Will still have some stringing though), make sure the filament is dry and keep your speed slow.

I haven't used it much myself, but I'm sure someone else can post some speed / temperature / retraction settings.

BTW, what exact filament are you trying to print with as someone whom has used the exact same filament could post their settings and results.

Normal people believe that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Engineers believe that if it ain’t broke, it doesn’t have enough features yet.
