Printing TPU on PETG without MMU

Hi there,

I searched a lot but didn't really found an answer. I want to print TPU on PETG. I want to switch the material and the settings once at a specific layer of the print. So the first part is printed with PETG and after the switch, the print finishes with TPU. Is there a possibility in the PrusaSlicer Software to configure this material switch like pausing the print, switch the material to TPU, ressume the print with TPU-settings.

Cheers from Switzerland

Tobi

RE: Printing TPU on PETG without MMU

hi,

you can try this method:

https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-mk3-general-discussion-announcements-and-releases/can-you-do-multicolour-prints-on-the-same-layer-without-an-mmu/#post-166851

It's a virtual mmu, so you can switch filaments with the specific k-factor and extrusion multiplier.
