Printing Prusa ABS please help
So I am a noob but have gone through PLA and PETG and after calibrating the extruder (down from 280 to 266.67) . Got rid of all stringing in PETG. Everything fine. Printed all the new print head parts in Black Prusa PETG and even cleaner than the ones supplied. Now its time for the ABS 45 degree fan nozzle.
No matter what I try. Even in an enclosure all my prints are rubbish. I am using Prusa Brown ABS , Prusa Mk3 i3 (month or so old) . I am using Slice3r PE with Prusa ABS Settings . All code at the latest level.
I have tried with no support , support from base, support everywhere (nuts I know). Used NetFabb and Oriented part to try something with minimum supports. All failing miserably.
I would really appreciate any guidance
These two photos show results from zero to max support
These two show my laughable attempt at the orientation from NetFabb

You shouldn't need support to print that part.
Try adding a little cooling (25% max) to the ABS profile. I've found that overhangs and bridges with ABS on the Prusa benefit from just a little cooling to prevent warping and sagging, even though ABS usually doens't need much.
Re: Printing Prusa ABS please help
pete.l22 you are my absolute hero. I was tweaking the Quality , which improved it a bit BUT your 25% fan did the trick 100%.
These are the setting I used in slic3r if you have any comments I would appreciate , also included pics of successful print - after 5 days and about 50 prints at last 😀

That's what we like to see! 😀
I would suggest setting no cooling for the first layer, just to help avoid adhesion problems.
