Preheating and Loading Nylon!

I am a relatively experienced printer, having used an old ANet8 Clone for the last few years.

I am New however to my Prusa i3 MKS3+  which i received last week, and have done the Beginners course on the Academy.

My question is, if i want to Unload my Filament of one Material Type, and Load a new Filament with different Material type, i am asuming i run the Unload from the main menu, and then Preheat to the New Material type, then load the Filament....

My problem is how do i do that if my New Filament is not listed in the Preheat menu (e.g. Nylon)?

Can we extend the menu? or is there another way i am not familiar with?

RE: Preheating and Loading Nylon!

For the simplest way to change,

In the LCD menu go to settings/temperature/Nozzle and set your temp, you can set the bed from there as well. As soon as the nozzle gets to temp start loading the filament.

Another method could be to produce a .gcode with the a filament profile you created and run that to get the printer ready to accept the new filament.

Good luck, hope this helps.
