Pre-heat temp selection when changing filaments.
If you are changing filaments from PETG ( last Print) to PLA ( this print) do you use the higher PETG pre-heat temp when loading filament to clear any PETG that may be in the nozzle or does it clear using PLA temp?

Yes. And many use cleaning filament to ensure the last batch is fully out of the nozzle.
