Poor quality on sloped top layer

I'm trying to print this item that has a top surface with a slope of about 20 degrees. As you can see, the top layer is far from smooth. I can clean this up somewhat with sanding, but that's not ideal, and more convoluted shapes would be more difficult to sand. Any suggestions on how to print this smoothly?

This was created in Fusion 360. I'm printing in PETG with the default Prusaslicer profile for it, with a .6mm nozzle, .4mm layer height, 15% gyroid infill, and 4 top layers with the monotonic pattern.

I can see some ticks along the perimeters, which makes me think I should turn the temperature down slightly for this filament, but I'm not sure that would do anything for the top layers.

If you want that top layer smooth ... invert the print, 'though of course, the bottom will now have the stepped finish.

I mean, it's 0.4 mm layer height. That's what you'd expect at that vertical resolution.  You can use a height range modifier to set the layer height to something lower for the top region, or use variable layer height. But with a 0.6 mm nozzle there's a limit to how low you can go, and you may have to go a smaller nozzle that can give you 0.1 layer height or even lower.  In the end, what you're seeing are the limitations of FDM printing.
