Please help issue using 0.25mm Nozzle

I have a printed case that I want text on and have found that I needed to use a fine nozzle to get the text to print. So Im using 0.25mm Nozzle with Prusament PETG.

The first layer is good but after about 4 or 5 layers the head bungs up with filament and destroys the print ...

I did the print about 5 times with the same result

I have set hardware to 0.25mm Nozzle and Slicer Im using stock 0.25mm Profiles

Is this over extrusion ? Just trying the multiplier at 0.95 just in case. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated

Got some more photos of another attempt with more detail. It started failing on the 3rd layer.

Looking OKish on the initial infill but dont like the look of the layer looks patchy.

Then it fails

I can’t speak to the 0.25mm nozzle per se but I would suggest you drop your nozzle temp down by 10 degrees after the first layer and see if that helps.

I’ve found some PETG will badly string if it’s printed too hot, which leads to the issues you appear to be having. Worth a try.

Hopefully someone with more relevant experience will chime in.

Cheers
