How can I use the "Change filament" or "Pause" to insert an item, then move the X Axis to access the other side of the bed? I've tried it a few times and there has been a layer shift of one tooth, or about 1 mm. Is the crash sensor keeping me from getting good results if i push the X axis to the very end? Thank you in advance.

if you look at my code a little higher in the thread, I moved the X and Y to 10mm from the ends of their travel, precisely because I didn't want to cause layer shifts...
IF you bump the X or Y ends, you are likely to get irrecoverable layer shifts.
so try again but move no closer than 10mm from the end of the axis, if that leaves the extruder in the way. move it towards the other end of the axis.
