Odd bumps in sidewalls

Hi all, this is one of my first prints on my MKS3+ kit.  I have followed the "life-adjust" thread, and believe I have the first layer dialed in.  Adhesion is good.  This is a print done in Prusament White PLA.  There are odd bumps on one sidewall, and lines in the other, which I thought would be smoother.  I'm guessing it is my PrusaSlicer settings, so I've attached photo's and the 3mf files within the attached zip.  I won't reprint, but keen to understand how the settings created this. Is it something to do with ironing?  Thanks for your time.

Some of the walls of your model are very thin.  There are places where the slicer has too little room to lay out accurate layers and one small area where it is not really possible to print even one strand thick.

There are no flat surfaces to iron ... it cannot help this model so turn off the option.

Be aware that white is always the trickiest 'colour' to print as it contains more pigment than any other and this can affect flow characteristics.

Your biggest problem:

The blemishes on the walls suggest that your axes are not moving smoothly.

First, with the power off, move the axes by hand; are they smooth? Does the resistance stay the same over the whole range?

Clean and lubricate the smooth rods, check they are not damaged/scratched. Check the idler pulleys are not clogged, out of line, or damaged (loosen the belt and try turning each with your fingertip, is it smooth?)

With the belts loose try turning the stepper motors by hand; are they smooth?

Retighten the belts until they just begin to make a low musical note when plucked...

Make your next print this:

https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/46639-tension-meter-for-the-gt2-belts-of-i3-mk3s-or-prus

It MUST be printed in Prusament PETG or the spring tension will be wrong.

Print done later that day.

Thanks for that, will certainly check all those.  Here is another print I did following the charger stand, and it seems almost perfect, so would that still indicate an issue with the axis movements? This was done in the silver prusament PLA at .3mm draft settings.

Thanks, it was attached in the 1st post - apple_watch_charger (under the photo)? I just clicked on it and it appears to have the .3mf inside.

RE: Odd bumps in sidewalls

the first Print was very poorly designed and not meant for FDM\FFF printing possibly consider Resin printing, or alter the model or search for something more suitable for FDM /FFF printing. I could show settings that will allow it to be printed in FDM/FFF  but you would need more understanding of the software, at the expert level. if you feel your ready for this then indicate that and I will post those settings.

Good Luck

Thanks so much for taking a look. It was something I downloaded from Thingiverse, and I wasn't going to recreate it given my rudimentary knowledge of CAD programs.  I won't put you to the trouble, its enough to know that it wasn't designed for FDM printing. Cheers.

It doesn't eliminate them.  At least check for smooth movement.
