How did you calibrate live z? Did you print the 75x75 square posted on this other thread z my way”? If live z is correctly tuned then how are you cleaning the bed? These are the 2 main reasons for bad adhesion. Oil from fingers on PEI will ruin adhesion.

Are you using the silver pla filament from Prusa (or similar 1kg roll)? You shouldn’t need to stabilize things. A picture would help see what’s going on.

Well the calibration is good because I've just finish a 8h work for business card holder.
Anyway I will retry 🙂

I'm cleaning the bed using Isopropanol 99,99% each time and acetone once a week! (I've just started)

Right now I'm using the silver pla filament (I heard it wasn't very good) but I've ordered other filament so 'I'll give a try

Hi all ! What I've learned so far:

* When loading a filament, you should heat for few minutes until the filament is well loaded and melting

I think this will help me a lot 🙂

Some news and questions:

I tried to print the Spring from a business card holder and 2 times it failed I guess because the size of the base was too small to avoid the object to move after a certain time.

Check the screenshots: 2 times it failed when the object has started to move from the bed.

So I put a little bit of glue stick (ordered at prusa) on the bed before printing the third time and increase the temperature by 10° after first few layers and now it seems to work (4im at 55%)

Is is a good practice I took ?

There is no reason to clean the surface after every print, just do not touch it with your fingers. I will not use acetone for cleaning purposes.

The best way to keep your small objects sticking on the bed is to used skirt feature in you slicer settings. 3-5 mm will do the job.

Glue on PEI surface is used for materials which are sticking too much and the purpose of the glue is to make it less adherant.

models with thin bases are notoriously difficult to print, because the ends and corners try to lift.

I have created a small object as a demonstration, it is Tee shaped.

the ends of the tee will tend to lift when you print them, but the middle of the tee won't tend to lift

for your model
I think you were confused, you were looking at Skirt rather than Brim,

the Brim setting is lower down
In the example I have given Brim a value of 6mm

this gives an effect like this in the picture the black lines are the brim and the red and blue lines are the model
the black line around the outside of the model is the Skirt, as you can see, there is one outline, and it is about 2mm from the edge of the brim on the main model

you can also use Mouse Ears to help constrain the corners and points

Now I can print what I want and since 3 print, nothing failed (PLA)

The jail printed fine during the night in 11H and I have printed the door using brim because it had a really small connection surface with the bed.
So everything is fine now...for PLA I guess 😀

I will create an enclosure and retry with ABS.

Now i´ve got an problem, because he ask´s me nearly every day if i could print it for him.

For the building (grey part), I have used the filament supplied with the Prusa printer. Which apparently isn't very good for some members here but as you said, the print is really nice so I'm satisfied! (0.2mm Fast mode)

For the white part, I bought a white filament in Belgium (3DOnline.be)

Be patient it took 11h to print 🙂 (+ 2 for the roof and the door). Also I didn't add support for the door, it worked well for this time

I am curious about which colors my son is going to choose.
But i think the Prusa grey will be a good choice for the walls.
Patience is no Problem.
