New owner making bad prints
Hey everyone, I just got my Prusa MK3S and I've been trying to learn a few things before I install the multi-material upgrade. Something I really wanted to print was a small adjustable wrench that would actually be useful for some things that I do. In doing that, I've experienced a repeated issue where the model has parts which aren't "anchored" to the bed or another part of the object.
Currently I am trying to print this model https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3241247 which tends to run into issues on parts like these images. Is there a trick to getting a print like this to work?

Looking at the thingi model - printing using the PrusaSlicer selection "Support on build plate only" may help. Many downloadables don't make it obvious which way up to print a model or if needs printed with supports.

@karl-herbert I tried to position it like that such that both sides were touching but it didn't seem to be equidistant when I was messing with the actual 3d model. I'll take another look. Thank you for the suggestion!

There is another issue with the model where the "top" of the main wrench has to print in mid air with no support. How would you pull something like this off?

OK, I'm getting this down! I'm pretty excited now. I've learned about the support meshes and the bridging settings. I'm doing bridge tests right now and I'm starting to feel like I know what I'm doing :). Thank you all!

3D printing is somewhat addictive. It should come with warning labels.
