Moon Lithophane - Failed Top

Tried printing this awesome Lithophane:

https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/23859-designer-lithophane-moon-lamp

I printed this with Prusament PLA, 6 Walls, 100% Infill, 0.2mm Quality setting.

It did not print how I expected. I expected the nozzle to go all around the print, printing walls, then adding infill..

How it actually printed was. It would go around printing dots all over the place, then do the walls, then move to another place, print a bunch of dots, then do the walls. It would not go around the whole thing printing walls, it split it up into what seems like 2-8 segments around the edge.

I will try to get a video up in the next 8 hours, I will start it again to get a video.

Here are some photos of how it finished:

What I think happened: It printed the dots in thin air around the top, this stuck to the nozzle. Then it printed the walls, excess filament stuck to the print. Nozzle came around again, hit excess filament and moved the print on the bed. It was not stuck to the build plate when it finished. I did not see this happen as I was asleep for the last 8 hours of the print 😉

If anyone could give me some insight into what I'm doing wrong or how to go about diagnosing the problem, that would be great!
