Model not printing on project with multiple objects
I'm trying to print some modular terrain for a game and would like to be as efficient as possible. As a result, I was using the large gaps in the large models to insert smaller models. This seems to work fine getting the first layer down for about half the models (the right side of the sheet) but when it moves to do the first layer for the other models, it's as if either the nozzle is too high or there's an issue with the extrusion, as I can see the printer move but there is no material laying down. I'm trying 0.30 mm layers on a 0.40 nozzle, which was a setting that worked fine for my needs on my first test print that was a single model. I know it's possible to complete models in order, but I'm not sure it's worth fighting the software. I did test the settings with the first-layer 3x3 grid, and while it doesn't look great under those conditions it did lay down the entire pattern. I've attached a shot of the general idea, where I thought there was enough space for everything to work with okay heights.
RE: Model not printing on project with multiple objects
I know it's possible to complete models in order
I don't know if you mean the sequential printing order, but it wouldn't work for this as the printhead/z-axis/printer cable would hit previously built models.
But just printing this normally should work. I don't see anything wrong, and I use this idea (printing small parts inside larger parts) all the time.
So we're back to
ither the nozzle is too high or there's an issue with the extrusion
That's most likely the case. If there's material coming out of the nozzle but not sticking you may be too high. If not, could be a clog.

is z-hop enabled?
also can you post pics of the failed attempts? it makes troubleshooting a bit easier
