MK3S+ Printable LCD Cover Wrong Window Size
The LCD Cover printable part for MK3S+ is not the same as the original one that comes with the kit. The cutout for LCD is larger by 5mm in length. The width appears to be the same though. I'll appreciate it if someone shares the correct one. Thank you.

To my knowledge, the LCD cover of the MK3S+ is the same as the one on the Mk3S, so the one in https://www.prusa3d.com/downloads/others/Original-Prusa-i3-MK3S.zip should do the job.

Unfortunately you're using the wrong dimension for your dual color version as well. Notice the black metal of the LCD? The left and right is thicker than the top and bottom. That's because the cutout is actually larger/longer than the original.
The download file are both the same. MK3S and MK3S+ use the old LCD cover for MK3. It appears MK3's LCD cover is not identical to MK3S/+.
Still not convince? If you have the original MK3S LCD cover compare it with your reprinted LCD cover fit it against each other and you'll notice the difference. If you can't see the difference grab a ruler and measure the rectangular cutout of both covers.

I just ran into this issue.
I have an MK3S+ that I bought assembled from prusa as an MK3S. That one I hooked an MMU2S to. I also have an MK3S+ I bought assembled.
I recently printed new parts for them. I was in the process yesterday of updating the parts of the first printer and I discovered the lcd cover I printed didn't fit exactly as you described. The original orange pare had C5 inside. The one from prusa for the MK3S+ had R2.
The purple one was meant to go on the first printer and the blue meant to go on second. I've not yet tried the second one on the one that was bought as an MK3s, since I don't want to have more than one printer disassembled at a time.

so actually that file has the R2 on it as well. I'm going to have to look for the C5 version.

I just checked the two directories of parts extracted from the .zip files downloaded from prusa for the MK3S and MK3S+. The LCD covers are exactly the same, with the R2. I'm going to reach out to support and see about how to get the C5 compatible one

Ok, so I got feedback from support.
They changed to wider opening at the beginning of 2021.
They gave me this stl file that should be the original size, 80mm. I've confirmed the R2 ones are 85mm wide.
So in case anyone is looking, here's the 80mm version.

The MK3S/+ LCD cover in GitHub was updated on June 8th to be the 80mm version (plus some other changes).
For what it’s worth, my MK3S kit from August 2020 shipped with an LCD cover part with an 85mm window.

Yep, Prusa has been distributing wrong printable LCD cover for a long time now (since MK3S ) and nobody points it out til I (a 3D printing newbie) made this post. Even the forum moderators and senior members here simply accepts the incorrect file to be true.

both my MK3S printer shipped assembled in Nov 2020 and My MK3S+ shipped assembled in March have the 80mm screen. I wonder if they were using up 80mm stock. oh well.

yeah I confirmed that .scad file now produces an 80mm wide opening. Thanks for pointing that out. I'm nearly done printing two of the ones that prusa support sent me but I'm going to keep this in mind next time I need to print the parts.

I like your version because the lettering sits flush with the front face.
