MK2 is better than MK3
The print on the left is from a Prusa MK2 with default settings, it is perfect. The print on the right is from a brand-new MK3, it is not. This is PETG. 1mm retraction. This is a single perimeter print. I print about 10 of these on the build plate at a time. I cannot get the retraction settings dialed in so I am hoping someone has some tips. The issue is always at the seam where each part stops and starts. Default settings leave holes in the seam so I added .1 extra length on the restart which closes the holes but now I get these blobs. Strangely, the blobs seem to occur at the end of travel (nozzle coming into the part). Does anyone have any tips for retraction settings on a bed full of single-wallparts? Thanks in advance.

Hi Patrick
Don't know if your slicer Support this function. Idea offers the option to swipe out a defined length at the end of the line. So the wholes can be closed and avoide the plops.

This sounds a lot like 'wipe while retracting' in PS. Is it the same idea?

Exactly
