missing part when slicing

Hi can anyone help me. beginner for 3d printing. this my 1st model priting, built using sketchup.

when i orientated the model like this some of the part is missing like shown in the picture. the extruded circular part only have top and bottom part with nothing connecting it. it supposed to be cylinder stud. the thing is, when i rotated this model 90deg, all part is visible. doesnt have problem, but that orientation using too much material on support structure tho and also it keep on wraping. starting on 7/8 layer, the warping get so bad that it move the model from the center. i use PLA filament with setting 215/60 deg for temperature. also i already set the speed to 50%

RE: missing part when slicing

Best way to get quality advice that is based on more than hunches is to use the Attach file button below the text edit box to upload the zip-compressed 3mf project file. It has to be compressed by your OS compress utility or the forum sw won't accept it. The 3mf contains all your settings, in addition to the STL.

Having said that, the triangle next to the part's name tells me enough to put my money on an error in the STL file that PrusaSlicer can't automagically correct. If your on Windows, you may try Prusaslicer's inbuilt repair tool (right click on the part). Or use an online service such as https://www.formware.co/onlinestlrepair

I'm not a Sketchup user, so I don't know what you can do to make sure you create valid STL files.

Formerly known on this forum as @fuchsr -- until all hell broke loose with the forum software...

RE: missing part when slicing

hi thank you for the reply, solve the issue by making the base for circular dimension bigger. and thanks for pointing out the triangle part too me. already click that part so that prusa can amend the stl file accordingly.

another question is why is my printing thickness varies for each corner or the model, and the bottom part is also a mess
