Minimum printing temperature

Hello everyone,

I just acquired an i3 MK3s, my main interest is the printing of a filament loaded with alumina powder.

This filament, at the manufacturer's recommendation, should be printed at a temperature between 107 and 150 Celsius.

To my surprise the extruder motor does not work when the temperature is below 180 Celsius.

I tried to launch the print and manually modify the extruder temperature. when the temperature dropped below 180C the extruder motor stopped working (however the printer still works as if nothing had happened). I also tried to enter the printing temperature (150C) through the Gcode and the printer reproduces the print without the extrusion motor moving.

Is it possible to modify this parameter?

RE: Minimum printing temperature

Are you really sure that it will be so low temperature?
For example, Colorilab's PLA with aluminum powder should be printed at 190 to 245 ° C.

You are out of luck if you are trying to print any plastics filament at a temperature lower than 150° C. The specs don't make sense in my opinion.

Place in the start gcode: "M302 S110" to allow cold extrusion

RE: Minimum printing temperature

you can change the min print temp with M302 S(temp) to reset the min print allowed

and yes there are filaments like wax that need special low temp

Were you able to solve the issue? I'm also facing the same problem.
