Issue with Layer Offset/Shift in Vase Mode - Need Help!

Hi everyone,

I've been encountering a problem while printing in Vase Mode, and I’m hoping someone might have experienced something similar or can offer advice on how to resolve it.

The issue is that there’s a visible offset or shift in the first few layers of the print. This happens whether the object has a bottom or is hollow at the base, so I don’t think it’s related to the model design. My suspicion is that it could be linked to layer cooling, but what puzzles me is that the problem is far more noticeable on one side of the object, while the other side appears almost flawless. You can see the discrepancy clearly in the attached images.

Here’s some additional info about my setup:

Material: Standard PLA (problem persists across different brands)

Nozzle size: 0.4 mm

Bed temperature: 60°C

Nozzle temperature: 215°C

Has anyone encountered a similar issue? If so, what steps did you take to fix it? Any advice on how I might eliminate this offset/shifting would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Cheers,

Bart
