How do you generate these types of supports?

I downloaded an STL and the model was in parts and each had supports that were thin towers that came to point. I printed it and these were very easy to come off. I have been using Prusaslicer, so I don't know if there is another slicer program that has this unique style

this type of support is typically used on resin printers.
If you select SL1 or SL1S as your printer type, and then set the model up for resin printing (with supports), you will get this sort of supports
If you then click the "files menu" and choose "Export plate as STL, including supports"
you will get a new Stl  with intgrated supports.

now create a new project in Prusa Slicer using your mk3 profile add the STL with supports, and choose your preferred slicing settings the slicer should now slic the model and the supports for FDM printing

Thank you! This makes sense. I am using an MK3S+. That is why I don't see this. Easy enough. Thank you.

cheers Christopher,

the other option is to use Prusa Slicer 2.6.0 Alpha6  (I believe this is the latest version) and use Organic supports, these also break off easily

regards Joan

However, with the latest alpha version of PS you get "organic" supports for FDM printers, which are basically the same thing. You can set it under support settings.
