Hollow cube with SainSmart TPU
I'd like to print a hollow cube, or as hollow as possible. I'd also like it to compress along all three axis.
When I use 5% infill I can get good compression in x and y but it is very stiff in z.
I haven't tried to see how far I can bridge for the top layer, with 0% infill.
What infill design might give me the most compression in the z direction? (I know this runs counter to the intent of infill, i.e. to add structural intergrity.)
Also, I can't seem to get supports on the inside of the cube. I've tried "supports everywhere", and enforcers. Will support ever be done INSIDE a closed object?
Thanks for any suggestions.

No, support is only external, infill as you surmise is what is used inside a closed volume.
Can’t help as to the infill type with best compression though as I’ve never tried for it, just the opposite.
