Help with PETG

Hello

I want to try going for PETG material,
with PLA no problem but it is not so great with PETG

I'm using ESUN PETG and when I used generic PETG it didn't stick well and got a lot of string

I play with the setting in the slicer from information in google, the best result got from using some who share 1633989504-hex_holder_PETG_paramount_attempt3

but after an 1.5 printing out of 9 I got this result

any suggestions how to fix or if some have fine setting to share with me:)

Hmmm., rather a lot of modifications.

Your filament looks damp, dry it thoroughly and try with unmodified settings: there is an Esun preset which you may need to download via the wizard.

Turn ironing off and try the Classic perimeter generator rather than Arachne.

Cheerio,

RE: Help with PETG

I use PETG all the time, I love it.  It looks like you're using the smooth steel sheet, have you tried the textured?  For me the smooth works best with PLA and textured with PETG.

Cheers
