Help printing lithophanes on Slic3r PE

I am trying to print a lithophane on Slic3r PE and when I slice the STL, I get "no layers were detected, you might want to repair your file or check size/thickness" message.

I am using the 0.1mm DETAIL MK3 print setting and the thinnest part of the file is 0.8 mm. I have tried multiple files and tried repairing them on Slic3r and Meshmixer but, nothing helps...

Any and all advice welcome and thank you.

One more thing, I can take the same files and slice them on Simplify3D and they slice correctly...

Just run the STL through any STL repairer. Quick google search should pop up several of them.

Slic3r 1.40.0-alpha1 should be able to handle these inconsistent STLs much better. Please note this is an alpha release, so use with caution.
