Help! First design and trying to print but failing after first layer...
Hey guys/gals,
Everytime I try to print a file I created, it ends up gooping on the second layer and I can't even proceed before things turn to shit. Not quite sure why and I would love the knowledge of this group.
Also, how do I upload the STL I created for you to check it out?
Please help me out, try to learn here...
With thanks...

Zip the file before uploading. A project (3MF) with your part and setting would be most helpful.

Thank you so much for your help!

You are printing a model that requires lots of support on that gradually sloping bottom with no support enabled. It will print the first layer fine but the layers above are printing in thin air.
When you slice the model its good practice to step through the slice layer by layer looking at the model once its finished and all the areas are colour coded. Bridges, overhangs etc are coloured differently so you can easily spot them.
You could enable auto support from the build plate but that gradual curve on the bottom isn't going to print well even with support. Personally I would adjust your original model to put a bevel on the bottom instead of a chamfer.

My computer is telling me the 3MF is corrupt ...

Oh weird, let me double check on the file. I just unzipped it again and it worked for me...hmmmm

The colon in the filename is the issue for us Win7 users.

As Neo said, the part design is unprintable without supports.
By turning on Detect Bridging Perimeters, it becomes clear why it fails. The layer 2 perimeters are printing midair.

Amazing! I really appreciate you all!
