[HELP] Extra layer getting printed or shifted

Hello Prusa group, I just wanted to consult your expertise on what seemed to be a problem that recently surfaced on our prints. We're printing wood filaments and initially had a problem with stringing but got that resolved using a 0.6 nozzle with setting in slicer:

- Avoid crossing parameters

- retraction length 1.2

- Lift Z = 0

- retract amount before wipe 30%.

After a while started getting these lines on our print. After heaps of adjustments and failure, I thought it was the nozzle so I went back to the original 0.4 and tried just default slicr settings (0.2) but still having those bump lines in different areas. Do you think its shifting due to vibrations?

Thank you guys!

Temp or moisture

Are you using the high temp or the low temp wood?  I just found out that the low temp wood will "puff up" and get holes and wierd artifacts at PLA temps (210/220) and it is meant to be printed around 180/190 C instead.  So that's a first thought.  Second thought is "popcorn" - by which I mean moisture expanded filament - is your filament absolutely dry?  The two (too high temp, puffy extrusion from moisture) can look alike.  The third thought is first look at the slicer preview after slicing - are those artifacts in the preview?  If so, it's not a settings thing.

Thanks for the reply Dan. I tested my wood filament with different temps and found that 195-200 is a good temp. I also tried a newly opened wood filament (same brand) and it got the same issue. This got me thinking as well, so I tried a different filament (non-wood) and actually got the same results (those lines are pretty random) in different places so I'm going to look at the actual slicer preview. It could be a travel move that is causing it.
