Hi, Tabo,
Did you make the plantpot out of PLA Filament?
Direct Sunshine is likely to raise the temperature of the plant pot to such a temperature, that it softens and warps...
I had this issue with one of my printed items, and when I re printed the same item in PETG, it withstands the heat of the sun. (So Far)

Once you graduate past doo dads and helmets ... PLA is mostly useless
It's a nice stiff prototyping plastic. But it is not meant for daily use. It is brittle, and on warm days you can reshape it by hand.
That's why I don't use PLA for anything except ... well most anything. You can't even make toys that kids can play with using PLA because it will become riddled with germs and you won't be able to put it in the dishwasher.
Heat...ugh
Thanks Joan. I will get some PTEG and try again. Damn My pot was a 44 hour print too. I did not know I could reshape it by hand on warm days.
Thanks for the information guys.
Valuable lesson in Material choices!
Best wishes. Joan

Some things are not worth printing
when I figure my printer run costs (replacement and parts included) I come up with about $4.50 an hour. At 44 hours, your flower pot can probably be gotten much cheaper at the local garden store.
