External Perimeter Shells Overlap Setting with PrusaSlicer

Hi y'alls,

I am seeking aid in allowing the perimeters to overlap one another.

The problem I have been having is with the perimeters not sticking to one another. I changed the settings of many different settings like extrusion multiplier (1.06), external perimeter and perimeter extrusion width. I have been able to see the difference in wall thickness for various changes, but when one wall changes, the other internal wall adapts and each shell or perimeter layer does not stick to each other.

If anyone has any tips, that would be super.

An example of this can be seen via using simple characters on the computer.

Internal wall -->   ||   <-- External  wall

I need both walls or perimeters to become 'one' wall, rather than sit right beside each other and pretend hold onto each other. 🙂 The print I am printing is 210mm in length and is quite large; while printing large objects with .4mm nozzle like this, I discovered this wall would cause a superficial layer without touching the inner wall perimeter.

Presently,

I am printing with one wall with a 1mm thickness. This should work, but it may degrade strength and quality of the print. I feel this is a 'hack' way to get the result I am needing for industrial part PETG. If there is a less hacky way or setting I may not know of, please update me if you would so kindly do so.

Save your part and settings off in a 3MF project file, zip it up, and attach it to a reply here. Once we see the specifics of your part & settings, we can make better suggestions.
