Different color streaking and blobs after swapping HOTEND
Printer went bad months ago, Nozzle jammed up + hotend and Extruder assembly base filled up with molten PLA. Swapped out the Hotend and Nozzle and cleaned up the base as best I could.
Was able to get new hotend, 1st layer setup perfectly. My issue is that while printing marble pla, the printer spits out some streaks of black PLA and also send a 1/8 inch blobs of black PLA that will create a crash detection fault.
Do I just continue printing until the bad stuff clears out or should I replace the whole Extruder assembly ?
.6mm nozzle
.20mm layer height
I suspect molten plastic is running down from the top of the heater block.
When changing the hotend & nozzle did you pay particular attention to the diagrams at the bottom of this page:

Cheerio,
RE: Different color streaking and blobs after swapping HOTEND
Seems to be clearing itself out by simply after staying close to the printer, monitoring blobs and removing them before a crash detection. No more color streaking after hour 2 and lots less blobs
