set for multi material
add 1st stl to plater
click setting and load part two
assign extruders
click ok
bottom of screen shows "detected object outside print volume"
What am i doing wrong please

Have you hit the "Arrange" button?

One thing that's not immeadiatly obvious is that the skirt is included in the "Outside Print Volume" calculation.
