Changing Filament temperature

Hi

Ive had a few prints where the layers have started to droop, having looked into a problem solver it suggested dropping the print temperature by 5 degrees or so, unfortunately i cant work out how to do this.

Using PLA at 215 degrees and wanting to try it at around 210 - any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ady

You can manually do it via the printer lcd after starting your print (wait until the second layer has started otherwise it will be reset once it gets to layer 2) or you can alter the filament profile in Prusa Slicer (or whatever slicer you are using), reslice the gcode and the new values will be in  there and used on every subsequent print.

thanks for the replies, most helpful.

Just one question though, I don't suppose there's a way to set the temp permanently for the spool I'm using, rather than slice each object and try to remember to set temp each time?

Many thanks

Once you've made your change to the filament profile, click the 3.5" floppy disk icon next to the filament profile name drop-down (still in the filament settings tab). Plicer will give you the option to create your own distinctive name for the new filament profile. Then next time you slice for that filament, choose your custom filament profile name.

Saving profiles by name also allow to correct for any filament diameter differences: one spool is 1.73, the next spool is 1.77, etc.
