bridging a 0.3mm pocket

Hi there,

material PLA prusament, layer heigth 0,2mm, nozzle temperature 215, bed 60.

The endresult should be a "bridge" over a 28x62mm pocket with a depth of 0.3mm! I designed the pocket -0.8mm deep and used 3 small support blocks to hold it from underneath. There will be a sticker inside eventually - the surface conditions are not that fancy - but should be not touching the bottom ... If I do it the other way around - it takes too long time to remove the supports. The best would be: printing, taking it off and done :).

Any other ideas how to make it? Should I use another material? Which material works the best with bridging?

Thanks a lot

Stefan

if you can imagine it - if you can design it - you should print it!
Make the impossible - possible!

I presume you are using the default 0.4mm nozzle.  Even with a 02mm layer height you will need to leave at least two layers gap to get a useable space, at 0.15mm layers it will be three.

Experiment starting around enough layers to match your nozzle width plus one or two and adding two or three at a time until you get a repeatable result.

thanks found a way around, do it 1mm deep and let it sag. Having one  littel support in the middel of the long side
