bridges to nowhere - slicer generates print lines in air
Hi everybody,
here's another weird one from me. The attached .mf3 produces some strange g-code. If somebody could kindly look at layers 10 and 11? Am I just seeing ghosts or is the slicer trying to close the holes with a bridge that ends in the air between the infill patterns?
Aesthetically I don't think it would be a problem as the blemish is well inside the object. But sagging filament may cause some problems in the next layers and generate a blob.
And, no, the objects can't be printed the other way round, because the side on the build plate will be the visible side and I want this to be looking nice.
So far my only idea would be to place an infill modifier around each hole and increase the density. That would be a lot of work and would increase the weight of the pieces unnecessarily.
Thansk in advance

it slices fine, but if its really bothering you for some reason set your bridging angle to 45 or 90, I think you are in the same boat as a lot newbies, you are thinking that slicer is an exact representation of the physical world, it's not, no slicer is.
Just print it, the bridges will be fine.
Enjoy
