Benchy fails at roof due to missing adhesion to ground

Hi,
I just put my MK3S into the enclosure and if I print something, first layer calibration looks fine. I also printed a buddy (the dog) which turned out fine.

If I try the benchy, the print is supposed to take around 2 hours. Everything is fine again, benchy looks nice, until around 25 minutes before completion. Then, it seems as the adhesion to the surface gets lost and the benchy is moved around by the print head which leads to not aligned printing of the filament and the benchy literally slides around on the plate.

Any hints what I can do against it?

Thanks

Katze

PS: Material is silver PLA.

This sounds like bad bed adhesion. Is your build plate clean? If you think it is, wash with detergent, rinse with water, dry with clean paper towel and never touch the build plate with your bare hand within the printing area. Most people clean between prints by wiping with IPA but that alone can also just move the smears around instead of removing them.

Hi,

cleaning with detergent did only help a little. Applying some glue helped, although I don't really like this.
