Assembled Mk3 after a month suddenly prints a mess
I bought the assembled version. The last month it is printed flawlessly with any issues or need of adjustments. After a successful plan to I moved on to the next model, and I noticed that sections or not sticking to the surface. At first I thought I needed to do a live Z adjustment, which oddly enough has been set to -1.3mm since I got it from the factory. I'm not really sure why it said that way but it has worked.
I suspect that it's a cleaning surface issue. However I have used the alcohol wipes both just now and it's still makes an impossible print. The plastic clusters up as it moves along and makes an absolute mess.

Also I didn't realize that this was just a steal plate and not the powder coat one that I was supposed to get with an MK3. I had waited the extra in order to get the plate, but I think it's too late at this point having realized what I forgot. I suspect the powder coat would be a lot better than this steel as it scratches very very easily with a spatula

I'm new to the mk3 but it seems the pinda sensor needs to be adjusted. In the setup guide it says to keep the live adjustment below -1.0mm.

I had problems like this. Turns out me extruder stepper motor was loose. just check them in case they are loose

I don't know what to make of it. This was working absolutely perfect, it just finished a great print. I had it sit for about 24 hours and then I tried another print of a different model and it just won't print anything now. It starts off looking okay and then it quickly screws up before the first layer is done. It looks like the nozzle is dragging through the layer. But if I raise the nozzle through using live adjust Z, then the plastic doesn't reach. It seems like it has to be super close to the plate for the plastic to settle. Otherwise it's even worse than what the image shows and the plastic goes everywhere.
All of my screws are tight. I've gone over them with a fine-tooth comb. The probe is positioned as it should. It has not moved since it arrived here fully assembled. I don't understand how that would move because the screw to it is still tight. Everything has not moved, and I've ran calibrations xy and z. I've done the paper test. Everything follows in order perfectly. There is honestly no reason why it should not print perfectly right now the way everything has checked out.
The steel plate has scuffs on it from the spatula. I noticed it is highly susceptible to scuffs though it hasn't had any legit scratches that I can tell.

This is the first layer test results. At the beginning was set 0.5 on a progressively moved it to 1.0. you can see that it looks like it's doing okay, but it isn't if you look closer. Although the lines are following them or rigid order and turning better, the plastic isn't on the surface. It's skimming above it a fraction

I got the V2 calibration gcode and ran that. It seemed like everything was running just fine. The first layer calibration seems to work alright. But then after about a minute or so of the initial model print it just goes absolutely fubar. As you can see on the left side of the image it started off fairly good and progressively got worse to the point where it became a mangled Heap on the right

clean the bed with 90% rubbing alcohol then redo your live z it does not look like there is a good squish. your live z should be -800 to -900 if it is higher you need to adjust the PINDA a little adjust by loosing and turn the probe a 1/4 turn at a time.
Also you should not need a spatula the spring steel is meant to bend so the parts pop off

clean the bed with 90% rubbing alcohol then redo your live z it does not look like there is a good squish. your live z should be -800 to -900 if it is higher you need to adjust the PINDA a little adjust by loosing and turn the probe a 1/4 turn at a time.
Also you should not need a spatula the spring steel is meant to bend so the parts pop off
I'll try rubbing alcohol again. I've already done that twice but I used the swabs that it came with. I'll get a bottle tomorrow.
In the past when I would do a layer calibration just before any print, it would always be set to -1.3mm. this was not adjusted by me. It was how it arrived assembled by prusa. I don't know why I have to adjust the probe as it has worked fine for the last month on numerous prints. How can the probe suddenly need to be changed?
So I'm going to literally rotate the cylindrical piece, the probe, 1/4 and tighten it and see if that makes a difference?
While I usually can bend and flex so the Pieces Pop off, many times they do not. Especially the finite delicate pieces that are printed. They almost never pop off with vending. I don't want to bend the sheet too much so I use the spatula which it came with. I only figured that it was normal to use it that often

when you move the probe remember to to run the xyz calibration again. live z will change depending on the firmware and or material -1.3 is too high it should not be over -1 according to PR. It has been reported here that the live z changes goes up with the latest fw 3.2.0-RC2

Dont worry about flexing the sheet, its spring steel. you can give it a 25mm bow from end to centre. The parts come loose fine
