ANYCUBIC PLA (I3 MK3S)
Hi.
Has anyone had any experience with Anycubic brand PLA? I purchesed a black roll off Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/ANYCUBIC-Printer-Filament-Printing-Printers/dp/B07DMF6J4M/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 , after using up my included roll of Pursament Silver PLA. In paticualar i am experiencing stringing, and low bed adhesion. Here is my first layer. I am using the generic PLA profile, with first/rest temp at 210/205 an dthe bed set at 70/70. I have also changed the retract speed to 45 and retract distance to 4.
RE: ANYCUBIC PLA (I3 MK3S)
Retract of 4? Why would you do that? And no image, so no clue what your are seeing.
RE: ANYCUBIC PLA (I3 MK3S)
prusa printers never should need a retract over 2mm and usually 1 or less is good, larger retracts are appropriate for bowden fed extruders but not direct drive ones
RE: ANYCUBIC PLA (I3 MK3S)
for PLA I usually use 0.4mm or 0.6 mm retraction on the direct drive Mk3S
On my Bowden Mk2 with MMUv1 I use 3mm instead of the default 4mm...

Ah yes, the ol' MMU or no? question. MMU2 still requires higher retraction numbers, does it not?

I have used it and it is decent. I prefer Atomic Filament.
