Adhesion problem with one side of the build plate
I use a PEI sheet and recently I have been experiencing problems with severe warping, but strangely on only one side of the build plate. I always wipe the plate with isopropyl alcohol before each print. Since the issue emerged, I have cleaned the plate with acetone but the problem persists. I have tried increasing the bed temp and changing the fan speed to no avail. Is it because I haven't cleaned it well enough? Is it because the PEI sheet is damaged and I need to replace it (it looks fine)? Is it because of the fan (the side with the adhesion problem happens to be the same side as hot end fan).
RE: Adhesion problem with one side of the build plate
It's probably the side with the most fingerprints - but see below.
Clean the sheet with dishwashing detergent (Dawn/Fairy) and plenty of HOT water, rinse well and dry with a fresh paper towel. Handle by the edges only.
The other possibility is that as the season and the weather change you open and close windows or switch from heating to AC and your air movement changes ... Is one side unevenly cooled?
Cheerio,

If you are not using dish cleaner as part of your sheet cleaning regime then the problem is likely to be a build up of grease from handling the sheet. Acetone is only needed for [very] occasional reconditioning of a well used smooth sheet.
