0.25 mm nozzle

So far a have only some experience with the standard 0.4 mm nozzle with my MK3S+.

For fine objects I'm considering to use a 0.25 mm nozzle. Do I have to expect problems? Is there anything I need to watch out for? I print PLA and PETG.

Thanks for your advise!

Get ready for slow and slower

.25 has a learning curve. Your slicer will adjust the gcode for the new nozzle size - and none of your previously sliced gcodes will be printable with that nozzle till you change back.  So keep track of which gcodes were for which nozzle.  The layer height lessons will be needed - don't expect to be able to print much thicker than .25mm layer height.  Second layer height lesson - ultra-detail isn't named well.  It will probably not work well with PETG (stringy already).

Thank, Dan, for your advise.

I don't re-use gcode files. I always re-slice for the currently given environment.
