Y-Crash causes X-Layer shift
Hello, i recently encountered a wierd problem with my MK3S+. When printing with my usual settings i get an X-Layer shift after some time. When i check the crash log it says there was a Y-Axis crash. The shift seems to appear directly after or before the crash.
Im confused because the shift only appears when there was a crash, i've done a 20h print and there was only one crash an one shift. Also, the belt tension looks fine, between 250 and 270 for both axis. The rods are well lubricated.
The shifts are very small, about 1mm or smaller.
The problem doesnt seem to appear on every print and also not on the same height.
I've tried to force a crash, so the print head will return to the home position, but after homing it continues to print in the shifted position.

this can occur if your X or Y axis does not return properly to the home position, this can be due to resistance on the X or Y motion.
do the axis move smoothly by hand? are the cable ties on the back of the Extruder cable bundle safely out of the way?
have you lubricated the smooth rods on X and Y axis?
you could consider turning off collision detection, but this is ignoring the root cause of any issues

Over-extrusion, blobs or a warped printed part can also cause a crash with the nozzle tip.
This is particularly noticeable with materials that have a tendency to warping or stringing (ASA, ABS, PC, Nylon, some PETG sorts....).

I think you are right. Somehow a zip tie got loose and collieded earlier with the side than it should. I renewd the zip ties and hope this will fix it.
I just wonder why the printer gets a different home position on the initial calibration before starting the print. If it collides with a zip tie it should do this before the print as well ?
