Y axis vibrations

I' experiencing some loud vibrations on Y axis movement.
Here's a video showing the issue: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0c4v0ovr5ghl825/mk3_Y-axis_vibrations.mp4?dl=0
Any ideas on what could be causing this? I'm pretty sure it's not the bearings as they're running smooth with belt off.

Re: Y axis vibrations

How does it sound when You move it by hand? Have you overtightend your U-Bolts?

This is how the carriage sounds on it's own with the belt taken off. The U-bolts are not overtightened, I even added a single wrap of electrical tape around the bearings for additional protection and vibration dampening.

Re: Y axis vibrations

Ok, so I managed to get rid of the PSU vibrations (it was a mosfet radiator that was resonating), also readjusted all of the U-bolts.
It is way better now, however I still think the Y axis movement is too loud. The noise is clearly from the belt/motor movement, not sure why the Y axis motor is so loud while X axis is silent. I tried loosening the tension on the belt but that didn't change anything, so that's not it.

This is how it sounds in normal mode: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ubv8git45bmpeg1/VID_20180501_002222.mp4?dl=0
