Y-Axis Rattle
Hey so for the last week since completing the build of my prusa the right side Y axis has been getting a progressively louder rattle, I have taken the entire bed apart twice, De-greased and Re-greased all the bearings, made sure they where properly aligned, made sure the axis rods where not bent or scratched, made sure it was not a loose screw, Im at my wits end and the only thing that seems to get rid of it is if pressure is applied to the front or back right corners of the heat bed. What ever is wrong does not effect prints either, so I honestly have no clue whats going on so any help would be nice. ( it is only slightly less loud in stealth mode )
If you change the infill to, for example gyroid or cubic, does the noise change?

It is always the same sound no matter the infil type.

I had the same issue. Only thing that solved it was installing these: https://www.printables.com/model/52128-mk3s-bearing-holder
Those u metal holders seem to be the problem.
OK, so as you've already greased the bearings and checked the smooth rods (and as yours is a recent build you will not have the same U bolts as @mpothmann) its time to check the belts.
For each axis but especially the Y axis:
With the power off, move the axis by hand; is is smooth? Does the resistance stay the same over the whole range?
Check the idler pulley is not clogged, out of line, or damaged (loosen the belt and try turning it with your fingertip, is it smooth?)
With the belt loose try turning the stepper motor by hand; is it smooth?
Retighten the belt until it just begins to make a low musical note when plucked...

I checked the belts and noted that they would not get over the Min mark on the tool, no clue whey I had not tested this before as i had printed the tool for my X axis! turns out i had to much slack in the Y-Axis belt. It has been adjusted and now sits a touch below Max.

Well not even two prints later, its back. the belt is still tensioned. One thing i have noticed is when the bed moves back and fourth across the Y-axis in one smooth motion it still makes this ringing sound... I think the bearing might just be shot.

Here is a video of the sound as it is now after tightening the belt, and my placing my finger on the corner wich removes the sound. It is less a rattle and more a 'squeaky rattle' its a lot louder in person then on video.

Idler runs smooth, the belt sits to the right slightly more but is not rubbing against the side.

Well got a replacement bearing, sound was gone for a while. Then it came back not as a rattle but as a loud high pitch Whine coming from the left side of the bed/rail/bearings section and only when its moving across the middle of such. Really don't know what to do at this point, took the printer apart and put it all back together, there is not one loose object, the bearings feel fine and don't have any visible problems. The rods also do not have any visible imperfections.
Do you get the same sound when moving the bed by hand - with power off?
