Y-Axis Failures

I have a lot of Y-Axis errors/failures.

What are good bearing upgrades for the bed? I feel these bearings are not any good.

I have only a total of 82 hours of print time.

Thanks,
Jeff

Re: Y-Axis Failures

There's been a few big threads on bearings, but if your issue truly is bearing related then there are some good alternatives like misumi as well some people are replacing with higher quality misumi rods.

I use igus rj4jp-01-08 for Y-axis only and they work well but are not ideal for the mk3 without real bearing blocks. Easy to over tighten the u-bolts.

Re: Y-Axis Failures

Have you tried loosening the nuts on the U-bolts? These bearings are sensitive to tweaking from over-tightening of the retaining system. My X axis was messed up until I loosened the back plate screws. If your U-Bolts are too tight, you might have a similar problem with your Y axis.
