XYZ Calibration issue
I purchased the MK3 kit 2 days ago . I assembled it today and had no issues in assembling the printer and only during the initial setup experienced issues....
1. The filament sensor was faulty so Support will send a new filament sensor and trapezoidal screws because the right nut was sticking.
OK, so I thought this is not acceptable BUT I will continue... I re-threaded the trapezoidal nut and re-checked the z-axis which now was moving up and down freely. I contacted Martin from support who said that I can still print without the Filament Sensor..... all I have to do is the XYZ Calibration.
2. I started the XYZ calibration step from Settings only to get an error saying that I should "Check the axes" ... Check the axes???? Yup they look good..... what exactly should I be checking support? All the bits fit well, there is no movement, the belts are tension ed as per the instructions.... all movement, X, Y and Z is smooth....... thanks Martin but...
WHAT AM I MEANT TO CHECK ?????
Re: XYZ Calibration issue
Hi Milan,
have you got any further with this?
did you have the metal sheet off during this phase?
did you consider ignoring the XYZ calibration and moving on to the Z calibration and first layer calibration?
