XYZ Calibration Fails at 3rd Cal Point
Good morning!
I've had a solid month of successful printing on my machine. After returning from a weeklong trip where I brought it with me, I tightened the x-axis belt, and started running into trouble.
When I run the XYZ calibration, it always fails at Point 3 - rear right corner (my right, when facing the machine.)
The probe light went out when scanning points 1 and 2 as normal, but stayed on when scanning point 3.
I slightly lowered the probe, and now the light turns off as it should on Point 3, but it still gives the "XYZ Calibration Failed. Bed calibration point was not found."
This is a kit that I built. I confirmed that all axes move smoothly. Y-axis skew is well below the lowest margin. X and Y belts are at 265 and 259, respectively. And Pinda probe goes out when I place a piece of metal near the tip.
I've also reset all settings and rerun the Self Test (which it always passes) prior to running the XYZ cal at least 3 times.
Might it be a faulty Pinda probe?
Once again, this is the first time I've had any sort of trouble with this machine.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated. 🙂
Thanks!

Re: XYZ Calibration Fails at 3rd Cal Point
Hello Andrew,
perhaps it might be a broken cable.
What happens if you move the cable a bit in each direction?
Does the light go out?
Just to eliminate the Pinda cable as culprit.

Re: XYZ Calibration Fails at 3rd Cal Point
FIXED. I updated to the new firmware, and that apparently fixed everything.
Thanks for your help!
