XYZ Calibration Failed. Bed calibration point was not found
After yet another print crash I have been chasing my tail trying to get everything re-calibrated but I cannot get past the 1st step of XYZ cal. All steps have been followed just like in the beginning. Not sure why the printer is failing me here.

H I am a new user and am having the same problem. I have been trying for weeks to get my i3 MK3S it to calibrate. It was built by someone else and appeared to be working, but on getting it home the front pully block for the Y belt was approx. half a centimetre from the frame and needed tightening up, and the belt was damaged. not sure how it happened, but possibly on the way home in the car?
I serviced it according to the manual and u tube instructions and tested the frame for squareness and tightened all the bolts and lubricated it and changed the Y belt.
Mesh bed levelling set to 7x7
Z-probe nr. set to 5
Magnet compensation on.
Nozzle cleaned.
Self test ok
Z showing 0.15
belt status X 226
Y 250
Skew 0.09
point offset X 0.00mm
Y 0.00mm
Y report showing X namnn

I have no idea what that means!
I have tested the pinda probe with metal object right across the X axis and the values change from 0 to 1 all the way across. but no led light.
I have adjusted the pinda height in increments from the nozzle the width of a piece of paper from the bed to act as a feeler gauge, and the probe just above the level of the nozzle as a starting point.
It still will not calibrate failing intermittently between the first and third point, without any changes!
Any help would be very much appreciated as at the moment I have a very disappointing useless expensive ornament that may go take a trip through the window soon!!

Hello,
I was able to overcome this with my own trial and error. I can't recall the exact order of the issues I had but at one point calibration wouldn't pass because the sensor wasn't aligning with the points on the bed. When I powered off and manually moved the X-axis and Y-axis to the far upper left corner (Z-axis a couple inches above the plate) near the home position it eventually completed XYZ calibration, bed level mesh, etc. During this trial and error process at multiple points the print head would crash into the bed when performing the Z calibration. Other issues were just trying to find the correct z-height to get a good first layer but this is expected. Although, I had several attempts before successfully completing a first layer calibration because the stepper motors seemed to be lost and the home position was near the front middle of the bed plate.
All is well right now after overcoming the issues mentioned above. I performed 1 factory reset during this time but that didn't initially solve my problems, it took several more On/Off resets and recalibration attempts.

Looks to me like there is a Firmware issue..don't throw it 😶 You may need to reload the firmware via the USB cable and a PC/MAC. Best to contact Prusa Support. They can be slow but always get back.

Many thanks for your rapid replies.
I have been in touch with the gentleman who built it and he emailed me a copy of the firmware. He is very helpful
( cheers Steve) and sent me firmware I think he has tweaked specifically for my machine. I have reinstalled it and it works after a slight adjustment of the pinder probe. Set up the first layer print and am testing it with a benchy as I write this.
Already running much smoother. it has net crashed yet on the Y axis so the belt change has worked. print is looking much smoother than the ones I tried before. They would not finish and stopped at the roof each time. I'll see if this one manages to get to the top.
Andrew maybe you can follow the steps I did?
