XY crash/Thermal anomaly at the end of first layer

Hello, I just had an issue come up out of nowhere.

For background, I have a stock MK3s+ running through an Octoprint server from Octo4a. I have 1400 hours of printing on it and about 500 of those with Octoprint. At the end of the first layer, the printer will stop and throw an error. In stealth mode, it says "Thermal Anomaly" and the bed temperature jumps around a bit. In normal mode, it says "XY Crash Detected" and after a few seconds Octoprint sends the M112 Emergency stop command. I have tried various gcodes including one that I had just run successfully before this problem occurred. I also noticed that, upon bootup, the lcd screen flickers. This makes me think that there is something larger wrong, instead of just the bed thermistor going bad. All of this occurred suddenly and without any warning, specifically after successfully completing a print job.

I would very much like some help troubleshooting this error. Included a couple videos of this.

RE: XY crash/Thermal anomaly at the end of first layer

Hi all,

Sorry for posting again. I found the problem and fixed it. Turns out my LCD cables had come slightly loose and there was a short between the wires on the second print fan I had installed. I'll leave this up in case anyone runs into the same thing. Sorry for wasting anyone's time. Lesson learned: always check for loose cables first.

Not fixed the issue yet, but this point in that direction has found this fault.

Many Thanks
